Define the cycle being timed
Ask which actions mark the start and end of the measurement. Does timing cover the packaging action, or also the handling before and after it? Was one pipe being packaged, or a group?
The description should identify the product and the equipment configuration. A number without those details is difficult to apply to a different packaging task.
Define the shift total separately
A shift record needs a time period and a clear counting rule. Ask whether the reported output counts all packaged products or only those meeting the agreed check criteria.
Record how waiting, film changes, setup and other interruptions were treated. Dividing a full shift by a measured cycle time gives a calculation under assumed continuous operation; it does not establish observed shift output.
Put the comparison conditions side by side

If an item is unknown, leave it as a question. Avoid filling the gap with an assumed operating rate or a percentage taken from another machine.
