A packaging line is more than a collection of stations. The way a pipe arrives, how its surface is protected and where the finished package goes all affect the configuration.
The system illustrated on this website receives a batch of square pipes, feeds them one at a time and wraps each pipe in film. Protected pipes then collect into a group, adhesive tape secures the bundle, and the discharge mechanism transfers it to the stacking position. This demonstrated process does not include a heat-shrink stage.
The companion film specification is considered alongside feeding and sealing requirements. Product dimensions, surface condition and the desired package appearance provide the starting point for that discussion.
